Things Required:
- Worsted weight (medium/4) yarn
- 3.5 mm crochet hook (or size that gives firm stitches)
- Polyester stuffing
- Tapestry needle
- Stitch marker
- Scissors
Finished size: ~6–7 cm (2.5–3 in) diameter (varies with yarn/hook)
Abbreviations Used:

- ch = chain
- sc = single crochet
- inc = 2 sc in same stitch (increase)
- dec = single crochet decrease (sc2tog)
- st(s) = stitch(es)
- Fo = fasten off

Rnd 1: MR, 6 sc into ring. (6)
Rnd 2: inc around. (12)
Rnd 3: (sc, inc) x 6 (18)
Rnd 4: (2 sc, inc) x 6 (24)
Rnd 5: (3 sc, inc) x6 (30)
Rnd 6: (4 sc, inc)6x (36)
Rnds 7–10:(4 rounds) sc in each st around (36)
Rnd 11: (4 sc, dec) x 6 (30)

Rnd 13: (2 sc, dec) x 6 (18)

Stuffing: Begin firmly stuffing after Round 10 and continue stuffing as you decrease. Add more stuffing gradually so the ball is evenly filled with no lumps.
Rnd 15: dec around. (6)
Pull yarn through remaining 6 sts, close hole tightly, weave end inside and Fo.
